Four people are dancing in the night around a lit bonfire, running in circle around it. They're wearing traditional outfits and accessories, and there are lit candles and rocks all around the fire

Enter  the Ritual

Hello and welcome to my domain. If you’re here for  the Ritual , I’ll show you to the circle, as a new one is bound to happen anytime now. Before you enter its boundaries though, allow me to give you a tour of the place so you know what’s in store around here.

First of all, the whole domain has been shaped by my various thoughts, but also by abstract concepts and feelings that are important to me, such as kindness, hope and of course radicalism. Radicalism to find and explore ways of envisioning and creating a better world for all us humans, but also for all other life forms and precious resources that shape our places of living.
Radicalism to think outside of all the awful narratives trying so hard to pit us humans against each others, to make us believe that our resources are unlimited, that infinite capital growth is somewhat possible, and that it’s alright for a very small portion of individuals to possess and decide of everything.
Radicalism to believe that helping each other and working together for and as communities is the best way to create this place of peace that we all want.

You might think that all of this is a bit abstract and unstable, and you couldn’t be righter. Navigating all those twisted corridors, ever-changing rooms and exponential gardens of ideas can indeed be daunting and often leads to newcomers being lost for hours or even days. This is why I created the following places, who serves as navigation milestones thanks to their better stability. If you’re lost, just look towards the sky and you’ll find you can easily navigate back to any of those places :

  •  the domain’s entrance (home) : this is where we are right now
  •  the workshop (articles) : here you will find the whole essence of everything I wrote in this place, being essays, notes, reflections, anything that has been transformed from thought to writing. This is the place where I do most of my work, and it centers mostly on politics, sociology, communities, life, relationships
  •  the circle (essays) : this is where  the Ritual  takes place, which doesn’t happen often. As such, you may find here only what I consider my best works. They might not be perfect, they might not be right, they might even not be complete but they are the best I could summon for a given try of the Ritual, in the never-ending supply of work that it demands. Sure, many occurrences of the Ritual might fail, and plenty already have, but only by repeating the work and trying new directions will we find ways to better it
  •  the photograph (about me) : this place is kinda strange, I used a picture of myself to stabilize it. There is not a lot of interesting stuff happening there, other than a reflection who repeats the same information about me over and over again. It changes sometimes but I won’t lie it does not happen very often

Okay, now that your surroundings are a bit clearer, let’s go onto the big question : what IS  the Ritual  ?

I have to admit, I am not entirely sure myself. What I know is this :

  •  the Ritual  happens at unknown and unpredictable dates
  • it is mostly about conjuring all the essence of this place, the radicalism, the benevolence, the kindness, the willingness to do good, to share all those feelings and all those concepts, then feeding it to  the Ritual  so it gives it back as raw energy that we can use to protect, to heal, to make ourselves and our surroundings grow and flourish as much as possible
  • it can and will surely be amplified by all the other people and communities making similar  Rituals  all around the world, it does not have to happen in my domain for it to be good

Now you might think that doing all of this process is tiring, and it is indeed. Powering  the Ritual  is hard work, and the outside world never stops slowing us down and throwing new obstacles at us that can put all of it in jeopardy. It is a daily struggle to keep it alive, but the more we will be trying to keep it going, to copy it or create different ones some place else, the more chances we’re gonna have at making it succeed. And that is how, not in one big explosion but in many small flicker and sparkles we will achieve our goal of finding peace within our world and with each other.

So I call all of the  Tired Dancers  from everywhere and anywhere, assemble, enter the circle, start the dance and combine your energies for together we’ll give life to  the Ritual  !

Sorry you’re so tired reading all this feels like a pain. Here is in short was is somewhat explained on this page.

This blog is about many subjects I care about, from a  radicalized leftist  point of view, and is centered around sharing and caring.

You will find Articles about many subjects that I care about, mostly politics, sociology, communities and adjacent.

You can may find (at some point who knows) what I consider my best works in the Essays page.

You can sort of find out who I am and where I come from in the About Me page.

Prepare to be even more tired, prepare to be even more radicalized, practice your dance : prepare for  the Ritual
